SCREEN PRINTING & DTG

Screen printing is the most traditional and popular form of garment printing. Typically the go-to method for cost-effective mass production, our print facilities combine to operate over 20+ automatic screen printing machines.

We offer several types of specialty screen printing methods like 3D puff, metallic shimmer, glow-in-the-dark, and simulated-process to give your brand a special edge.

  • TRADITIONAL PRINT

This is the process of pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen to create a printed design. It’s a popular technique used in a wide range of industries.

Designs made using screen printing technique may use just one ink color, or up to 12 colors.

  • PUFF PRINTING

This printing method makes the print physically stand out by raising the ink off of the fabric. It’s done by mixing an additive into the ink that causes the print to rise as it runs down the dryer belt.

  • SIMULATED-PROCESS

This art-separation approach uses a mixture of inks, gradients, and halftones to achieve color-accurate prints. This method is especially useful for designs with high color counts, that would typically be considered not printable.

  • METALLIC PRINTING

This ink printing option is perfect for either subtle highlights on a print, or for bold and reflective designs.

  • GLOW IN THE DARK

The Glow in the dark effect is accomplished using bright fluorescent neon inks that make your design pop in the dark.

They’re especially a hit for festivals and events. Ink colors are available in blue, red, white and pink.

DTG

DTG printing is the best print method if your project is using a design with a high color count (6+) at a lower quantity (<50). DTG printing is generally more expensive per-print in comparison to screen printing.

FAQs

  • DTG is a printing method that's used for printing realistic images like photographs or for designs that have more than 12 colors. Screen printing is more traditional and gives the design a more artistic effect. DTG has less setup costs vs screen printing, but screen printing costs less per unit.

  • For screen printing, we can print up to 12 unique colors on dark garments and 11 colors on light. We require a minimum of 72 items to print more than 8 colors.

As for DTG, there is no limit to how many colors you can use.

  • For DTG, samples start at $75. For screen printing, samples typically start at $150.

Screen fees will also apply depending on the number of colors in the design.
